Yeah, really. They're spelt different, how can you not see the threat there?
if it doesn't make a difference, why bothering posting this? maybe you need the attention!

Dude! I'm retired and I'm getting snowed in. What else am I going to do this afternoon?
And I'm ADHD, rearranging my collection of beer bottle caps.

I get a hour for lunch. Can you all keep the banter going for a little while longer? The occasional hehe and lol is great for digestion.

Ok guys, no matter WHAT your favorite camera is, especially you guys with NO opinion.
It's time to go out and get a Sonny. Shoot Sonny all day. Shoot Sonny as much as you can. After you shoot your Sonny, shoot Sonny again!
Just don't all shoot Sonny at once!
Gosh darn it, there goes that stupid spell-checker again.
That's supposed to be Sonny! No, Sonny!

Sigh! I'm busier than a cat coverin up poop on a tin roof.
But collecting places to go back to with the camera and lens box.
It has always (At least the last 30 years) been a conversation I've avoided simply because the difference between cameras is nothing compared to the differences between any two photographers. With a background in photojournalism I've found that it's far more important to see a shot developing and releasing the shutter than it is to have the perfect shutter speed for the scene, especially considering the tremendous latitude we get in editing digital.

The fight on UHH over Canon and Nikon has been going on as long as I can remember. Frankly, they're both outstanding camera systems, so, why does it really matter? Take either one it becomes the photographer than is the difference.
Leica! why bicker over which contender is better when there is an undisputed champion!
I have to say, when I was a kid I loved my first grey & silver Kodak w/attached flash(Ag1 flashbulb, I think)that shot 120 film because it allowed me to take pictures. When I was in the Navy in Germany in the 70s I loved my first "real" camera, a Mamiya-Secor (don't remember what model)because it allowed me to take nice, sharp photos. Then, I upgraded to a Minolta Srt-101, with a 28mm, & 1.4/55mm prime, because it gave me flexibility and allowed me to be more creative. Then I added a Minolta XE-7 because it allowed me to use it for slides & the 101 for color film.
Then, (40 years later)I inherited an Olympus point-n-shoot C5000Z that I used to take pics in Hawaii & Colorado. I loved it because I didn't have to pay for film processing. While in Hawaii I used my son's Nikon Coolpix S550 point-n- shoot when the battery died on the Olympus. I loved it because it worked.
Then, I saw an ad on Facebook asking which is better Canon or Nikon that directed me to this Hedgehog site. I got hooked. I read a lot. I ended up buying a Sony A77. I love it. It feels great in my hands. Ergonomically, the best I've handled so far, I tried them all. I love it. It's the best - FOR ME. Use what you've got. Share the good ones.
