Wasn't obsolete. Congress said it was to expensive to fly, and that satellites could do the same thing. Guess that's why we need all of those high flying photo drones, to back up the satellites,

That is what obsolete means....Its mission was better and more economically accomplished by newer and more technologically advanced means....I love the SR-71 too, but I do not deny reality.
