September normally being the rainiest month of the year, we have been cloudy and overcast at nighttime. So I started looking at 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 1:30, and all you could see was a highlighted area behind the clouds. Finally it happened, the sky was clear and the moon was very visible around 4:50AM. So I grabbed my camera already set-up for the moon shot and this was my final shot of the eighteen shots I took (it took a while for my sleepy eyes to wake up). I took this shot with my Tamron 150-600mm lens, @ 400mm with stacked 1.4X and 2.0X Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 DGX extenders, f5.6, 1/800sec., ISO 2500, spot metering, minimal post processing and cropping. Gary
