I just learned to use BBF, too, and it came in soooooo handy when a hawk landed in our weeping cherry tree recently but perched on a branch BEHIND a multitude of twigs! It was almost constantly behind those twigs but I was finally able to catch the eye in focus and hold that focus thanks to BBF. It's worth the research. Not sure how I can switch back and forth from shutter focus though. I use D5100. Any advice welcome.
