For Al-Servo to work you have to hold the shutter button down and the BB down while you are following the subject. Once you remove your fingers everything stops....Rich

Once I got the hang of it, I love BBF. Nice shots. I also thought it coincidental that you showed back shots using your BBF.

On continuous mode right. I have the d-7100 Nikon

Sorry I'm not sure about a Nikon so I won't say. I do know how it works on Canon T3i and 7D in Al Servo mode and BBF.....Rich

I thought it was a joke because all the initial pics were of the back.

I still don't get what advantage there is in using BBF vs. using AF-L when wanted and properly choosing when to use AF-C vs. AF-S...which has nothing to do with whether you use the back button or half-shutter press to focus.

I tired it for a while and found it just required more finger fumbling.
