Those are great pictures. It looks like you were there at the right time of day to capture the different shades of color. It truly is a spectacular sight to see and photograph.

You must rocks in your head standing on that perch.
Read death in the Grand Canyon and you will see what I mean.

Another great series Sylvia...

Hope I have not tired you all out yet, nearly at the end of our visit!!

I found the Canyon the most difficult to shoot with so much variance with light, shade, colours and haze.

All have been taken with my Canon 650d, Canon 18-55 lens, apart from number 7 with the SX50 needed extra reach!

I think you did a terrific job. I'm sure the fellow standing out on the pillar was yodelling. :-D That might have been what Bob meant rather than climbing out there.

Of Zion, Bryce, Lake Powell and the Grand Canyon, which was your favorite?

You have taken some grand canyon shots (pardon the pun) and the capture of #7 is great. The first and fifth shots are my favorites , mostly because they include the Colorado River.

Very nice. Although I've seen these areas numerous times, I'm still overwhelmed each time I visit the canyon. I'm due for another visit soon.

You did a great job of capturing the grandeur presented.
