Hope I have not tired you all out yet, nearly at the end of our visit!!

I found the Canyon the most difficult to shoot with so much variance with light, shade, colours and haze.

All have been taken with my Canon 650d, Canon 18-55 lens, apart from number 7 with the SX50 needed extra reach!

Very nice.

You can spruce them up quite a bit with some simple processing in Lightroom. Hope you used a CP and shot in RAW...you'll be able to do a better job on colors and haze if you did.

Sylvia...I'd say you did a "GRAND" job of capturing the Grand Canyon. I really like the mix of photos you've posted - both the wide open views and the more 'local' shots with something in the foreground to offer perspective and love the one's with the people in them. Very, very nice set!!!

So, are you thinking of moving to the states...? ;-)

After viewing the downloads these are even better than my first glance indicated. Wonderful detail in all of them. And I think you did a smashing job with the tricky lighting you had! You used it to your advantage.

Thank you MtnMan pleased you liked the set, your informative comments are very much appreciated.

I am relatively new to taking pics. No filter used, shot in JPEG. I use an ipad to download my shots and have a small basic pp app.

:D
