OK 2 different camera's same shot same location on tripod. Shot in raw and auto processed with Photoshop CS5. Other than a variation of color, I don't see the difference between the 2 camera's. Am I missing something here. I am sending the pics and info download.
I did notice the same lens on different camera was different in AV, and speed. That may be due to the digic processor, 50D full frame and T5i smaller?

The Canon's processor looks to have sharpness and color bumped up a bit.
It seems from your question you expected different results?
I like the 50D shot better. Color is sharper.

I see the time is wrong and yes they both shoot differently.
I did not notice the t5i w/b is manual so that could account for color shifts. I guess I was looking to see if a crop sensor was better than this modified T5i processor, and that's where I am completely blind. I don't see a sharper crisper picture from the 50D as I thought it would be compared to the T5i? Thanks for pointing out time and W/B, that I can change. Do you think it would make a big difference in the quality of one over the other?

What's a 'modified T5i processor?' Did you modify it somehow?
Processors evolve and the T5i is newer than the 50D so it's improved.
Holy crap, I did not know that. I thought the 50D had a full crop sensor and the T5i had the smaller one. So that tells me they are very much the same sensors? Now what makes one a professional type and the other not?

The above are Crop Sensor cameras where one is older than the other, sensors included.
As a side; Canon's pro-line includes the 1D, 5D and 6D cameras

Local photo shop modified the speed of the processor (over clocking) and tweaked the A/F sensor. Or at least that's what I paid for. That's why I am comparing the 2 camera's for professional review here to see if there is a difference.

"Local photo shop modified the speed of the processor (over clocking) and tweaked the A/F sensor."
I'd be curious what that actually means other than installing Magic Lantern Software on it.
On a side, even at stock, you are comparing old technology against new.
I don't know what Magic lantern is? OK here is another question I purchased the 50D body and 5 batteries w/ charger for 350. Should I keep it as backup or re-sell it now knowing the both camera's are almost the same?

Magic Lantern
http://www.magiclantern.fmWhat is it?
Magic Lantern is a free software add-on that runs from the SD/CF card and adds a host of new features to Canon EOS cameras that weren't included from the factory by Canon.

Aside from being taken at different times and under different setting. I am not a Cannon users. But to me the T5i seems to have the advantage in this series of shots.
Note I am not nor do I pretend to be a professional photographer. But looking a lot of photos on this site, I have come to the conclusion that it's not the model number on the camera, but more the person clicking the lens that is professional.
