digital, and installed. I would have to uninstall it to be able to sell it. I never had the box, it was a download.

For me the Sony wins primarily due to it's size, weight and cost. it also as a ton of unique and useful features.

I just got the A6000 two days ago, it is nothing less than awesome, the auto focus is insane, blazing fast, Image quality is superb.

I still learning the camera, but very happy with it.

here are three sample shots with it from today shot in JPG using a Sigma Art DN 60mm 2.8 lens

Agreed on e auto focus, and the pic clarity is amazing. We got ours in early August and took it out west at altitudes and we are extremely pleased with it.

I'm on the fence here. I shoot primarily landscapes and wildlife. This will be my first IC camera. Mirrorless OR DSLR? I'm not a professional, but want professional looking photos. Feedback please. My first post, by the way.

I just bought a Sony a6000 and am learning to use it after 30-40 years of Nikons (and 10 years of Canon and Pentax before that) I love my D7000 and will continue to use it for most of my studio and location photography, but I bought the Sony for carrying convenience. The images are excellent and I love the EVF.

There is not much downside. Having lost two shoots from the failure of sdcards, though not recently, I like the D7000's duplicate card slot and backup. I got the kit lenses: 55mm pancake and 55-210mm. I should have gotten the Tamron 18-200mm. (I just shot a large church barbecue party and having to switch lenses frequently meant that I lost some good shots.)

I have a copy of LR4.4 to sell too. :-)

I'm getting more and more disgusted with LR for many reasons. What software do you recommend instead? Thanks.

ya I will have to agree with you on the PP complications, maybe I should sell my copy of LR5, it's still in it's sealed unopened box :)

I'm also getting disgusted with LR. Which PP software do you recommend? Thanks.

I'm not really the person to ask for post processing suggestions. :-)
Perhaps starting a new topic would get you more experienced recommendations.
(I use DxO Optics Pro 9)

I am cautiously investigating the A6000, which currently means I ask a lot of picky questions. One question I remain uncertain above is focusing when dealing with fast moving objects.

Do you have any person experience taking pictures of sports, moving vehicles, etc??

My wife used it two ways......the sports style mode on auto, and by using the manual ability to adjust shutter, aperture, etc. who subject was wind-blown landscape and bugs 'n birds. We are both beginners, and she found it very easy to use with nice results. I think you'll find the focus to be outstanding.

Wings, I prefer to use Paintshop Pro X6 and Onones Perfect Effects 8. You can use other very good programs like Lightzone 4, Gimp and Picasa.

I can't answer your question properly, as I have no experience with the Samsung or the Nikon But I do have the Sony a6000, and I think it is absolutely amazing. I have just come back from China, and used it to record moving subjects, landscapes and people on the streets. It is brilliantly sharp and the focus is very quick indeed. Low light is wonderful in the "Scenes" mode: it can take a photo with hardly any light at all. I am really, really happy with it and frankly, although I had a 5D Mk11 with me, I used the Sony more often as it is so much smaller and more convenient.
