When you have absolutely nothing intelligent to say, insult.

But silver, you do it all the time.

Silver has a problem grasping reality, so he only does what he knows.

That's all poor silver can do, simply because his rationale and arguments are so juvenile and lame.

You are just a paranoid nut case. To actually think that Mr Obama actually wants to destroy our country, how crazy is this. You are not seeing reality, you are living in the haze of the ultra conservative tee hee hee parties distorted rhetoric.
If you want to remodel your kitchen, you must first take everything there, out. IOW, destroy it.
Obama has said, several times, that he wants to remodel (change) the US.
He is in the process of doing that; but first, he must destroy it. Just like that kitchen.

I would jump in here but sliver excoriated me so badly yesterday I am still in tears and just too embarr-assed to reply, he might put the fear of SLIVER in me again, I am so worried about that I think its Bud time.

BigBill, as an intelligent person, I didn't expect you to make a big mistake! How could you compare a kitchen to a country? Your analogy or comparison isn't correct!
"Change" means to modify; alter; transform; to make or become different; to give a different position, course, or direction; to replace with another, remodel, remake, etc., etc.
"Destroy" means to put an end; do away with; to trash.
The word "Change" has many meanings and susceptible to different interpretations; while the word "Destroy" has only one meaning.
My point: I had my kitchen changed, remade, remodeled or transformed. Called a handyman to do it and told him, I want you to make changes in my kitchen to make it look nice and beautiful. Want you to change this and that! First, the handyman, removed the vinyl flooring and changed it with a travertine; changed the wood counter with a granite; changed the color paint; changed the old faucet with a modern one, and so forth. My point, he did not destroy the kitchen to make changes! Main structure is intact! He just make changes to make it better.
If I told him, destroy my kitchen! That's different from just to make changes, right?
As you can see from the definition of the word "change" it is susceptible to many meaning depending upon the intention of the person who said it and the person who heard it. Only a crazy person would say that he will destroy a country! On the other hand, there will always be crazy persons who will misunderstood the word "change" to mean "destroy".
Finally, shouldn't Obama meant when he said he will make changes that he will replace appointed officials who don't do their duties, like what he did when he replaced the Head of the VA Hospital because of the widespread the scandals going on? Or, to replace an overworked Sec. of State with a fresh one, and many other changes in his cabinets since he uttered the word "change"? My opinion!
Wow silver you need to stop drinking or whatever you are doing.
Answering the wrong post?

When you change something, you must first destroy that which you want to change.
Kitchen or direction, doesn't matter.
To go pedantic doesn't change (see?) that.
