Well whatever you did, this is stunning! This one should definitely be on the wall.  :D

Thank you, Sylvia. I actually did rather a lot to this one, lol. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the very kind words. Our old friend 'Cherry Cheeks' was gracious enough to pose for me again in this, and away we went!

Thanks as always for your visit, much appreciated!

FANTASTIC!!

Up here this long weekend is called "Paint a Weed Day"....

Trouble is, I've dug them all up and sold them.... :? Lots of people think they're pretty...
Bit of internet at camp today.... no truck in my line of sight.. :D

Thanks, Ron. Glad you liked it. There were so many flowering yellow weeds at the base of this daylily, I pretty much HAD to paint it just to get rid of them, lol.

I think the people down this way are too busy smoking their own weeds to buy any of mine, pretty or not! : )

Thanks for looking as always and of course all the thumbs! Much appreciated!!!

Had any good sunrise/sunsets up there yet?

Pretty flower. What's the newest software you bought!

Thanks for looking, Bob. This is Cherry Cheeks again, this time with a bit of make-up, lol.

Picked up OnOne--had a sale price I couldn't refuse for the full plug-in edition. Already had ReSize, so it was basically the upgrade price with a discount. Also looking hard at Akvis Sketcher, doing the trial run with that one. Seems a bit pricey, but I do like their programs.

Absolutely gorgeous!!

Thanks very much, Mom of 2. Glad you liked this one. A very bright and cheery image of a daylily called 'Cherry Cheeks,' one of the prettier daylilies in our garden.

Thanks for your kind words, and thanks for looking! Much appreciated!

Bright colors bursting from the dark background. Like.

Thanks, Bmac. Glad you liked it. There was a lot of weedy stuff (pretty yellow flowers, but still weeds...) at the bottom of this photo. Painting this let me get rid of them without really getting rid of them, lol.

Thanks for looking, always much appreciated!

A gorgeous glow to this one, Randy. Love it!

Thanks, Linda. Glad you enjoyed it. That lovely warm glow comes from the friction of all the post-processing software butting heads on this one. A little bit of Topaz (Adjust, Clean, and Simplify--watercolor II and Painting IV), a touch of NIK (ColorEfex--Glamour Glow), and a smidge of OnOne (wet look/detail adjustment). Each added something the others couldn't. Totally bastardized and loving it, lol.

Insanity!!! But why not? How else do you find the limits--if there are any?

Thanks for looking--always appreciated--and pleased you didn't think it was worthy of the trash can! : )

Yes folks, it's holiday time again--National Paint a Daylily Day. Daylily painting festivals are being held all over the country today, accompanied by long-winded speeches, parades, picnics, and fireworks.

Or maybe not.

But I can have my own private parade and picnic. Without the speech, of course. And the fireworks will come later, when my wife sees the bill for the latest software I bought.

Great shot and effects as always Treepusher, beautifully done

Beautiful painting Treepusher; where is this festival being held? If it catches on I could start one on desert roses. Are you franchising? Does SharkTank need to be called? BTW I love the capture. :-D :-D
