Spent a wonderful day walking trails with my hubby, I really didn't do well with my pictures... deleted more than I took, but here are some I thought were OK...

Thanks Gregory... it really is, and it's a nice free day to spend with someone you love...
just wish my husband would pick up a camera... lol...
There are so many places on long island that are hidden gems..

Give him a camera for a present that he can't return. But really as long as he is willing to go along for a walk and supports your photography, Angela, it's not too bad.

My wife does not like to take photos, but she will support me , and waits and walks along side me as I shoot pics. Much more than supportive. She ask me when will your last photo be taken, I explained to her (Never) their is no last photo.

Lol.... no camera for him, his head is on work or sports, but I do appreciate that he comes along and never complains!! 8-)

Well she is a very good wife to be interested in your interests!!
I always enjoy my husband's company on my outings!! :)

:thumbup: Nice pictures! Brought back many memories for me as I used to live about a mile from there. I have lots of shots of the place on fujichrome. Did you get any waterfoul pictures?

Glad I could bring back some fond memories, mimbushopper! It is a wonderful place to spend the day.
As far as waterfoul pictures, most got deleted but I will attach one that's not too bad...

Nice series! Wires will definitely give your auto focus fits! Use the largest aperture you can so the fox and wires aren't both in the DOF.
