You reduce this discussion to the most base level that it makes no sense to try to reason with you, if that is at all possible.

I know of it but never been down there - we lived in Bishop for a shot period of time - a couple months in '51 & '55 -but never got down further than that on #395.

Noting Diogenes's responses and posts it is my opinion that Diogenes is not versed in communication skills that are used in internet communication.
Much less the courtesy of an adult.

Customers are individuals and if they lie they are liars. A car salesman is supposed to represent a trade and if they lie it is very bad for their trade prestige. The way you see things don't make any good to the "pre- owned car sales industry.

Often times, the 'Trade' is a purchase from an Auction and the Dealer has no idea if it is a good Vehicle or not. It is sold to us on an "As Is" basis.

I myself, have the Vehicle State Inspected, do any repairs needed and offer it for sale. Contrary to popular belief, even as intelligent as we are, we are not fortune tellers. We cannot foretell the future, and are not able to predict any repairs that may be needed on a Vehicle after the sale.

I represent my Vehicles to the best of my ability in an Honest way, which according to a recent poll, is more than 95% of the general public does when they trade. That leaves 5%. Have you ever traded a Vehicle into a Dealer? If so, which percentage did you fall in? Remember now, just because you're not a Car Salesman doesn't mean you can lie, o.k?

Often times, the 'Trade' is a purchase from an Auc... (show quote)

For what you said, you are an honest car sales dealer...you do not tell your costumers you are selling a 100% impeccable car and a costumer with some common sense can understand there are some risks on buying a used car. I never try to condone dishonesty on either side. What I try to remark is that a dishonest guy in the business give a bad name to the whole industry....

The overwhelming number of gun owners have never been shot at!

A very large number of gun owners will shoot themselves, a member of their family, a neighbor or friend or be shot by the same.

I think it is called culling the herd!

I've also been shot at - 10 years law enforcement, including US Border Patrol (where they REALLY teach shooting skills) and 31 years US Army Reserve (still serving, still fast and accurate)

I know very well how to handle my weapons safely

I still have no want or need for an imaginary grandpa in the sky, and never will.
