Not all liberals are anti-gun, and not all gun owners are religious.

I have a CCW and am an extremely accurate shot, but I most definitely NOT conservative or Christian.

If someone enters my house, I will defend myself. If somehow I can't defend myself, I may call for help, but I certainly won't pray.

The overwhelming number of gun owners have never been shot at!

A very large number of gun owners will shoot themselves, a member of their family, a neighbor or friend or be shot by the same.

I think it is called culling the herd!

I have been shot at (NAM).

I have been shot at and hit (USA)

And now I carry a card in my wallet (CCW)

I have shot my Glock (9mm)

Sound ...very hypocritical to me...You may realize you made a mistake when you thought that you never could need a gun...and that is it.

hypocritical? In what way? When did I think that I would never need a gun. My father gave me a 410 when I was only 10. I didn't need an adult to take me hunting.

There was a time when I thought that I would never need a cell phone. I don't leave home without one now. That does not make me a hypocrite. I just learned the value of carrying a cell phone. The same reasoning could be applied to never leaving home without my Glock. You may never know the value of carrying your gun with you.

OK, OOOOOOOOOOK, here we go again, the Old Gun Controversy! Arguing about Guns is like arguing about Religion to me. Who's right and who's wrong? They both are never ending arguments, so why not leave it alone?

If you want a Gun, buy it. If you don't want a Gun, then don't buy it, but don't try to convince someone they need or don't need one. If you want to believe in a certain Religion, then practice it, but don't try to tell someone yours is right and theirs is wrong.

How about let's all put this thing to rest?

Why do you have to carry a gun to church or to a bar?

Am sorry but did you mistake me for the OP of this thread? I am not trying to convince anyone to buy a gun. I own a gun - you don't, what is that to me? But don't tell me that I don't have that right myself. I was voiceing my opinion just like the rest of you guys and besides, I enjoy these discussions, don't you?

I don't drink but I do go to church. However, my gun is locked inside my car.

Sorry about that, wrong OP. I do enjoy discussions on here, that's why i'm here. I just don't see the point of arguing a moot point. Again, my apology for mistaking your post.

Sometime during your visit here on the Hog you are going to get a laugh or two from one of these idiotic threads or maybe, if you are pro-gun you might want to jump in and defend that right or to just voice your opposition to owning a gun. That is well and good if you are not attacking and are making a point worthy of reading. You won't change anyones mind but you have been heard. If you don't speak out then the other side wins and you will have to fall victim to your own silence.
