Hi Nafplyr - Sorry but I disagree with you. I could clear my holster and fire within a second or so. Course I did practice quick draw a lot when I was a cop.

Ya know, it's more than protecting yourself isn't it? I'm sure you all have been attacked numerous times and have had to fight off dozens of criminals. You guys really get off on this gun crap, don't you? LOL!

But I was attacked and beaten for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I've had to "show the instrument" twice in 50 years. One was a home invasion and the other was an attempted robbery by a street thug. No shots were fired.
You are welcome to your opinion that I do not have the right to protect me and mine.
But please explain why you feel it is morally superior to get raped than it is to have the ability to prevent it.

But one of the things you learn first is that for the most part uh you do not come to the door like in a domestic dispute.
If the gun is out of course you have an edge if they are not too close already.
Some of the athletes I help train can cover 12 feet in the time it takes you to blink.
It would be unwise ever to think that because you are armed with a firearm that t out cannot be defeated,and rather quickly

Reread what I posted then show me where I said I thought she deserved being raped.
She said she used her brain in that case I think she was defenseless.
