15 second exposure of the Lunar Eclipse on 4/15/2014

I have no idea how you got this shot since you shot it with the shutter open for 15 seconds. For me, when I took a pic with anything more than a second the shot turned out blurry because the moon moved in that short of time span.

Sorry, but here in Brunswick, GA - the clouds came in and there was no moon to be seen last night

That seems to be the same for most of the South East area.

Went out about every 10 or so minutes and took multiple shots then pulled out of the many these seven to have a composite. Used 500mm mirror lense on the first three then 200mm for the last 4. Had fun (from midnight til 4:30am CDT). Had a hard time keeping a good focus.

WOW! I think I almost like the 200mm ones better than the 500mm shots. I like the composition that you have going too.

Great shots. I stayed up most of the night getting the Eclipse. Here is one I took through the trees just after the moon had risen.

Lorima, I like your artistic eye on the first one and the sharpness of the second one.......thanks for posting your photos.

The 18-200mm F3.5-4.5 Nikon is much crisper and has autofocus. The in-expensive 500mm F8 is all manual was a bear to focus, especially when it was fully eclipsed and quite dark.
