Hallmarks of G.A.S
Ordering gear first thing in the morning (eye opener)
Severe cravings whenever passing by a camera store
Physical withdrawal ,tremors anxiety, nausea, palpitations when separated from gear from any length of time.
Concealing gear around the house
Minimizing amount acquired to significant others
Denial that one has as much gear as one actually has.
Telling oneself " I can stop anytime I want to"
Multiple failed attempts at stopping acquisitions.
Frequenting places and associating with those who fuel the syndrome.

I have the same disease but I have the Pany FX200 (same as your Leica) and a Nikon D7100 with 335mm, 12-24mm and 105mm. I'm thinking of getting the sam OLY you are looking at and maybe a big Nikon lens.

I think you should sell the Leica and the Fuji and get the OLY. Then think about whether you need the reach of the SX50 and maybe sell it to get some longer lenses for the OLY.

Its a disease but it feels good, doesn't it!

Yep: I'm thinking along the same line. I put the Leica on EBay and think I will do the same with the Fuji, I really love the Fuji, but I think I will be able to do more with the Oly.

For some unknown reason I'm looking at all the latest cameras and going crazy. Does any one else have this disease. I have a Canon sx50, Fujifilm X20 and a Leica D-lux4. I can't carry a large camera any more so I still have to keep weight in my consideration. I am looking at mirror less 4/3 and really fancy the Olympus OMD EM10. Viewfinder is a must. Street photography is my passion. To get the EM10 I will have to sell some, or all of my stable. Need advice, Shall I do it. Or is there a pill for my disease.

Mel, I have all the equipment anyone woulld ever want or need, but when I'm in any photo dept., that's where I spend my time 'looking', while my wife is in the clothes or jewelry area. It's a common disease we photographer's contract. Welcome to the group of we 'sickies'! :)

cthahn is a real Downer. Doesn't have much to say that's useful. On a fixed income, I have to sell first and then buy.

I agree totally. I have several full frame bodies and multiple pro lens that I will never learn to use proficiently. No matter, I seriously enjoy photography, and am in a position that I can indulge myself. You only live once.
I have to admit that my wife is very nice.

Being proficient is not a prerequisite.

Exactly. Proficiency is not at all the issue here. If you want new and/ or different Gear, then have at it.
I'm here to help be a sounding board to that end.

APPLAUSE!!! I agree 100% Proficiency?! Irrelevant! This is a hobby, remember? That's a license to accumulate gear. Are Porsche or Ferrari owners proficient sports car drivers? Are people with thousands wrapped up in fly fishing gear necessarily proficient? Are people with tens of thousands wrapped up in wine collections necessarily proficient at enology? Heck no on all counts! Enjoy your life! Get what you want.

I agree too. While I do know how to use them in all modes except "art/effects/scene mode" - I have a collection of notable Kodak digital cameras, an old 35mm SLR (gee, those lenses are affordable now!) a Pentax Auto 110 film SLR, and what you see below. I use six of them often, and none of them in anything less than P mode.

I also have a cellphone camera, but I only use it when I'm stuck.

EM10 with the 17mm 1.8 is a great street combo...

Good enough, but IMHO the Panasonic 14mm f2.5 is even better, is usefully wider, and this side of the pond it's only 2/3 the price of the Oly 17mm. I love it on my EM-5

Yes, do it. The image quality is great for the size and price. Just a small point- you mention 'mirror less 4/3' - I think you mean MICRO 4/3. Make sure you don't get the wrong mount if you spot a used lens bargain.

Do it! There's no cure for this disease except an angry wife. If you need a new camera for physical reasons and you can sell some stuff to get it, why would there be a problem?

And if all else fails, sell the wife! :D
