I have Corel Photoshop X6 and downloaded a bunch of zipped files for plug-ins.

Unzipped them all and put the unzipped files in their folder into Corel X6 into filters. They don't load up. The extension is atn on the files.

What am dis stupido doing wrong ?

I am not familiar with the software you are using. But I know the solution to the problem. Google it!. When I have problems with add ons to my programs I just google it. Be specific, f.x. "how to install corel paint shop pro plugins" and I am sure you will find the solution in some of the first answers.

Those are action files for Adobe Photoshop. I don't think they will run in PSP (and I am not sure why you would want them to.)

What are you hoping to do?

Also, executables of any kind represent a potential threat to your computer system. You say you "downloaded them." I would urge caution.

Is there not some process in the application that lets you 'register' new add-ons/plug-ins? If so, perhaps you need to go through that as they usually have you point to the location of the new plug-ins, which may be packed up in a different file than you are accustomed to seeing.

Just a thought. Good luck with it.

Sorry Sarge, but this Stupido has no idea what you're talking about.

Actually, I do have a few zipped files, but like you, the zipper is stuck. !!

*.atn is Adobe Photoshop Action file - will not run in non-Adobe programs.

I had the problem too,Sarge. In the end I found them under Effects in the Edit menu. Mind you, mine were not zipped but they were hard to find.I think I clipped on the exe.file.
