Re: " Open Window", cropping the sill; PS out the hardware and enlarge(assuming the pixal count is not too diluted) and it could be hung on the wall already "framed"!

Very nice shots!!

Thank you, wpromine I had thought of that. I have a room below the room that has that window. The second room is below ground on that side and needs a window. I could effectively copy the widow and move it to the room that needs a window. I could make a widow/picture for each season.

Thanks for the idea

All the snow is gone now but they are calling for more snow in a few days. I might take that photo again but this time I'll line everything up so the window is flat and centered. I'll need to skew it a little so I can see the trail leading up the hill.

I just got another idea: I sometimes sell my photos where I have a display of my works. I could try selling the window where I use the window frame as a picture frame as you suggested. It would be a novel idea that might sell. I'll leave the hardware on it. They would be buying a hangable window!

wpromine, your wish is my command.

I'll shot this again, but attached is my interpretation of you suggestion. This is the same photo after some post processing.

That path looks so inviting, just have to ask, where does it lead to?

I cut that trail myself with a DR Brushwacker. It affords me access to the thirteen acres of land that came with the house.

It gives me views of the cattle and deer pastures that surround my property. I cut it so I could take my camera and go on short hikes. It's about a mile long.

Did someone mention a deer blind?
I have widows in my blind to keep out the cold air, hot and cold running water, five bedrooms, and four baths.
