Hope I'm not politically incorrect
What's wrong with being politically incorrect? It's my daily goal.

Not matter what anyone says it's somehow politically incorrect to someone. No sense even worrying about that.
I think your photograph is interesting and I like the arrangement of men, their red shirts and the contrast with the white hats.
Not sure whether you purposely selected the title of the thread for the humor, for if you are using the word "gay" in the traditional way they hardly appear very happy. You didn't short change these fellows did you?

How could be it incorrect, there is a movie with that title staring Cisco Kid. We call them Mariachi's, nice photo...I like it!
They don't look gay.

They should have invited The Three Amigos to liven things up.
It would be more correctly titled like this as Mariachi is a band -a musician is a musician.
Mariachi de felize caballeros quatro - in Spanish
Mariachi of four Happy Friends
For the life of me I can't see where the word "Gay" cannot still mean happy!!!!
Nice shot. It brought back some old memories. My job took me on business trips to New Mexico and Mexico when I was a young man. I spent many pleasant evenings listening to bands like this. It's where I picked up my love of TexMex music and Freddie Fender. I'll bet the band in your picture can do a great cover of 'Wasted Days and Wasted Nights'.

Do they ride bareback on their caballos?

Too many days and nights wasted away in Margaritaviile for me. I had forgotten that song. Thanks for the memories. Or lack of.
