Usually Amazon Prime makes a difference between buying from them or buying elsewhere.

My payment was refunded the same day. yesterday, I got an email from B&N saying it would be delayed, and I had to decide whether to wait or not. I'm waiting, but not holding my breath.

Did they charge your card? They charged and credited mine the same day. I doubt if we'll ever see that book, but we tried. Maybe it was a hoax. :D

I got a message from B&N on 12/27 saying the book would be shipped on 1/27 the message says they will charge my card when shipped

That was the original message that I got. Not refering to the date, only the how they would charge my card.
