Sunset in Maryland on a winter day

Maybe the placement of the two trunks is distracting from the main focus of the sunset. What do you think of these two crops?

I agree with cropping about an inch from the bottom of the photograph. Where the two smaller trees are in the background, I would crop at the base of those two trees to just see the ground. Very beautiful sky.

are you serious you do not need to critique a thing It is beautiful I wish I took this shot, I've taken several nice sunsets but not one compares with this, blow it up & frame,or better yet enter it in a contest just be sure to show it off.....Patricia Ann

I really appreciate all the comments about cropping. I am just a novice and did not do anything special with the photo. Used Ashampoo Photo optimizer and did no special touch ups. what you see is what the camera saw.
