I like it skip..perhaps if you had shown more of the sky and less of the dark foreground, because the cloud colouring is fantastic.

With the wide range of exposure, I think it would have been a perfect HDR project.

I think the silhouette of the trees works great. There is too much dark in the foreground, though. I would crop most of that out and leave the trees and the sky, which is, after all, your main focal point. Nice shot.

I respectfully suggest that you might get more extensive and specific remarks in the PC&A section of this forum. Although that section is fairly new and has its detractors, the moderators are working hard to make it a viable source of honest, but courteous critique.

Beautiful shot; If I may offer one peice of advice- crop the bottom of the shot, so that the black portion is limited to approx. 1/8th of an inch. it will do wonders to your image !

The colors in the sky are incredible, awesome job! Did you have to do much tinkering of the photo in photoshop?

I like the picture and you did the 1/3 rule. Others have said to crop, I disagree. Your eye is taken to the colorful sky, but in an abstract way, you have to go through the darkness of life to get there. Sort of like the light at the end of the tunnel theme.

I would crop about an inch of the black foreground. I love the texture and color of the clouds. Very nice.

Beautiful sunset photo. For my own taste I would crop some of the brown foreground out.
