No problem...I knew it was in jest...I thought it was funny because it was from out of "left" field!
Thanks for the pic. I always wanted to know what it looked like under the hood. 8-)

You are supposed to use a suction cup on the camera base
when leaving it on the car roof! Have you learned nothing from the combined intellects of UHH. Go and sit on the naughty step for a month!
Two questions though:-
Did you feel sick when it bounced?
Was it insured?

1. Yes, VERY. I mean like PUKING sick! Partly because of number 2.
2. No
I would tell you to go to the naughty step for two months, but in view of answer 2 I will shut up and just commiserate.

But I did save the battery and memory card!
I was in Arizona talking on my cellphone to my wife in Honduras, and wasn't at all paying attention. The very last photo on the card was of Marialy, the office girl where I worked, but somehow it wasn't quite worth the cost.
It's obviously something in the air in Arizona, I dropped my flashgun overboard into Lake Powel when visiting Rainbow Bridge. The only consolation was it cost me less than the insurance excess to buy a new one in Flagstaff. Thinking about it I was talking to my wife at the time as well. Are wives hazardous to photographic gear?

Politically speaking, we could say that D600 users are fans of Big Oil...

Very true.
McDonalds sells more hamburgers than all of the other fast food restaurants combined. That doesnt mean theyre the best.
Chevrolet sells more cars than Ferarri. Which would YOU rather drive?
ZL1 for my part. I have driven older Ferraris and yes they are a hoot. The maintenance is insane. Where would you park one? Mall? restaurant? drive thousands of miles on vacation? Ferraris are great toys. For something I can drive coast to coast I'll take Chevy
