Picasa is the answer to your problem. It's good and it's free.
Just Google it.

I am a senior and use amongst other programs, Picasa which is free and easy to use or Faststone Image Viewer, which is much more than just a viewer it is a very good package for nothing.

Both are worth a try.

I use FastStone for downloading photos from the camera memory chips, managing my photography directories, and deciding which photos to keep. It's extremely fast, has a small footprint on your computer's memory, and intuitive to use.

Lightroom is my choice for processing RAW file, but FastStone has all the tools I need to process JPG files.

It's free to download, but I usually send them a yearly donation since I use the program so much. Hope this helps.

For the application you want I would say Picasa is your best bet and it's free. It will work for beginers as well as those that want to do more advanced techniques.......

Hello,

I am trying to teach photo editing to a group of seniors. Trying to find a photo editor that everyone can use has been a problem. I am dealing with having to use different computers and then trying to find a photo editor that is simple to use for some people and has advanced features for others. Another issue is that several of the seniors can not afford to purchase anything.

I have tried Pixler, Pic-Monkey, I-Piccy, GIMP and Photo Shop Elements. I don't know what to to at this point. At this point what I think is I need to find an online photo editor. Does anyone have any othe ideas?

Thank you

You do not say why you dismissed the programs you have "tried". I have been teaching Photo Shop Elements to SENIORS since version 2 (1999?).

Is it too expensive? $90-$50 is not too bad for mot anyone that can afford a camera.

Is it too difficult? The current version, 12, has a QUICK, GUIDED and EXPERT mode. A lot can be done in these three modes for all levels of students?

Help and support: The vast number of on-line tutorials and forums combined with the plethora of books available make this the one of the most widely supported programs of any kind.

More Help and Support: Almost every senior center I visit has a computer "guru" of some caliber that can help with PS, if not PSE.

Free 30 day trial from Adobe to make a decision. I often have students download a copy the fist week of class to decide if they want to buy it. Conversion is pretty close to 100%

Maybe it's time you gave it another look.
