We always use regular-sized marshmallows - just don't pack them densely! Was this casserole microwaved?

Good morning SB, thanks for viewing. I'm finding out since posting this that many people use the regular-sized marshmallows; I think we may be on a new trend here. No the casserole was baked in the oven not microwaved.

Always good to smile in the face of disaster. As disaster goes, this isn't a bad one, and I'm sure it still tasted great!

As I'm sure many will agree, thanksgiving is a day of fun, family, food, and football. From the fun category, my granddaughter was told to get marshmallows for the sweet potato casserole. No one told her it should be miniature marshmallows, so the results were somewhat volcanic. It was hilarious, we all had a good laugh and the casserole still tasted great. Always looking for a good laugh and hopefully a good picture to record it.

Looks fantastic- I think you should do this next year as well and make it one of your holiday tradition's

Thanks Cam20000, that's a good idea, and since it tastes so good anyway, that is now becoming the plan.

Always yummy, explosion or not. And when it's the grands helping out, makes them twice as much fun.
