Are you sure it's not a white throated sparrow? The chipping sparrows I'm familiar with have a reddish brown crown with no white.

I'm really not sure at this point what kind of sparrow we have here, but it comes real close to several in my big bird book. Thanks for viewing.

Top 2 pics looks like the male is standing guard over the female just below him. These are very neat shots. Love them.
