I have been on the search for a D7000, I would do a D7100 except my budget won't allow it, and I have noticed they have imports and US models. Other than the warranty's are there any more differences?
I need some help before I make the plunge.
I just need the body and a flash since I already have lens.

The factory will refuse to service grey market products. Have you considered a factory refurbished unit? Factory refurbs often receive more attention before they are shipped than new units. As long as you're dealing with a reputable dealer like B&H or Adorama you'll be in good shape. While what you say is true the warranty and inability to get factory service is significant and well worth adding to the conversation. If I were the OP Id find this information just as importantjust sayin.

I've never had to have a camera repaired - warranty or not. Nikon offers a 90-day warranty on refurbs, which is always my first choice in bodies. New is over-rated.

Thanks Wall-E and Jerry for the refurbished idea, I am sure it 's the way I will go. Still trying to deceive between the two since I can get a refurb 7100 for just a. Couple a hundred more, if I do amazon They have a 12 month interest free with their card so I may go for the 7100. Waiting for blk Friday and cyber Monday till I make up my mind.

Yes Jerry Nikon will repair refurbs but not grey market units they are not the same thing.

Best Buy is going to have a Black Friday deal on the D7000 with the new 18-140mm lens for $799. You may like this lens better than what you have (?), but if not, you could easily sell it to offset the cost. That would give you a brand new body with full warranty for less money than a refurb.

I'm selling my Nikon D7000. I have it on craigslist with a 50 prime but if you're interested in just the body let me know. First go to Craigslist, Bergen county, NJ and look at the pictures and specs.
