There is no such thing as a REAL forever price from Adobe. I have it in writing from their tech support that THIS offer is a forever price but don't believe it for a minute. Every offer has small print disclaimers in the agreement. Some are just worded differently to make you feel better about that fact that they have ensnared us. I took this offer, figure within 12 months there will be options or I will have learned enough about the new On One suite to cut the cord.
Or maybe Adobe will learn something about their single-user non corporate customer base. There are hints that this is possible.

The only no-brainer option is to go elsewhere for photo editing!!
There ARE other options for photo editing, just like there are options to Adobe's PDF editing and reading!

The offer that all are searching for is the one that expires at the end of December, not the 2nd of December. The terms require the purchaser to be a registered user of either CS3,4 or 5. The price is the same as the new offer, ie $9.99 + local taxes. This offer was removed from USA and GB sites about fifteen hours ago. Anyone who accepted a higher price offer is able to change to the new one. The new offer is called "Photoshop Photography Program". The previous offer was not called this.
In a previous post you mentioned that Edge was included in the bundle. Neither of these two offers include Edge. You can of course download the various incarnations of Edge as limited time trials - you will be charged extra at the end of the trial period if you retain these extra items.

Yeah, and this is after I spent good money to buy CS3 on ebay, and jumped through all the adobe hoops to get the registration switched to my name...
I guess the upside is that I will have CS3 ready to go if adobe put the price up too much next year!
