About a month ago, Adobe was offering the Creative Cloud for $9.99 a month forever to owners of CS3 or later. Access to programs was limited, and you had to sign up by December 31. Now I can't find that offer.

Any help?

Thanks. I saw that, but it's a different offer, with no guaranteed price and sign-up by December 2.

I bet they withdrew the offer that was going to be available till 12/31. It looks like they can't make up their minds.

In the FAQ it seems they took away the pre-ownership requirement:

Yesterday (UK) that offer was showing on both the USA and UK sites, I bookmarked both. Now the offer is gone from both sites.

What were you saying about changing the rules . . .

Is it possible to believe anything Adobe says?

Withdrawing an offer with a set deadline is not good practice. Imagine going to a store to buy an item on sale and finding that they "changed their mind" about the sale, and the item is back to its regular price.

Still there: I opened the 'purchase'.

Annual plan — US $9.99 per month, plus applicable tax with a one year contract Payment.
Each month during your one year term, we'll collect payment of the fee stated at the time of purchase plus applicable tax. As soon as you've successfully completed this sign-up process and your payment is confirmed, your membership will begin.

Renewal
The price is valid for a full 12 months. After that, we'll renew your contract automatically, at the then-current price of the offering, unless you cancel. The price is subject to change, but we will always notify you beforehand.

Cancellation
We'd hate to see you go, but if you cancel within the first 30 days, we'll give you a full refund. Otherwise, you'll be billed 50% of your remaining contract obligation. If you ever need to cancel, just call Customer Support.

Meaning that next year the price will be bumped up!!! Question is: By how much?

I am pondering springing this dough (~120) just to try it...

I know. I know, there is a 30 days 'free' trial and I also know how to circumvent the limits.

The new offer doesn't require that you have any version of PS at all.

The renewal terms as at yesterday, UK time

Renewal
After the first 12 months, we will automatically renew your contract based on the current price of the offering.

A little different wording to your catch of today.

Photoshop + Lightroom = 9.99
Photographer deal now open to all
A couple months back, Adobe offered a special deal for photographers who owned Photoshop CS3 or later: get Photoshop CC and Lightroom with a subscription for only $9.99 each month.

Now, but only through December 2nd, this deal is available for everyone. Just head over to Adobe’s website and you can sign up. It requires a one-year commitment but it’s billed monthly at $9.99 + any local taxes. That’s an ongoing price, guaranteed for a year. After that the price might go up.

This seems like a no-brainer for anyone who doesn’t yet have Photoshop CC.
