Nice shot from Treasure island. For me I would take C and crop off some water, C has an SF landmark included the Coit tower.
They are all nice. Depending on which software you use, open the image, check and correct the horizontal line of the landscape. Check to see if you have and can do a "Reflection" add on. It will make the image more dramatic and fill in the foreground.
Thanks for sharing
Don
I prefer C. I feel it is more balanced. Just crop off some of the water.
A. Needs to be leveled just a bit....
Correct me if I am wrong, but initially B & C were different skylines but are now the same one cropped differently?
Of the three originals my preference is for A - but not by much.
I think that Lighthouse's rendition is an improvement; the panorama effect works. Sacrificing the foreground and correcting the waterline were improvements; the color is, for me, more realistic.
Cheers to all. I appreciate being able to give an opinion.

Thank you everyone, I am working on straightening it out (my sorry eye did not catch that). C does look a lot like B but it was just taken a few moments later to see what having more water in the shot would look like. I will do a bit of tweaking taking into consideration all of your helpful hints. I am sure my dad will be happy as he has such great childhood memories of growing up there. Thank you all again for your help, I truly appreciate them!

Messing with a copy of it, in your opinion is this better?
I liked A, but I like this rendition of it better.
I like B. A to much sky, C to much water.

I would make darker. Black sky. I would crop some of the water out, more (pan). David

Not really.
It still has an orange cast which actually masks colour in the city lights.
Also looks to be lighter instead of darker.
I hope you don't mind but I copied the file and had a bit of a play to show you what I mean.
It is hard to play properly because it is a very small jpg on here.
See how there is more variation in the colour of the city in this edit?
I didn't see your adjustment when I wrote. You nailed it. David

@lighthouse~if you do not mind my asking what program did you use to make the alterations to the original?
I pick A. It would be lovely in print.
