It is. I live close to a Air National Guard base and I got a picture of one doing touch and goes. We have C-17s here in Jackson MS, but a lot of different military planes fly here and practice their touch and goes. Retired from there along with 6 years of active duty. USAF

Nice set Steve. I really like the first one for it's DOF, and bokeh. The muted browns are interesting and accentuate the crisp focus on the eyes. Nice job. Mike
Thanks Mike for the comments. Apologize for the delay in responding but have just come back from Florence Italy. Hope everything is well with you.

What do you mean by a 2 stack image Steve.
Thanks Dewayne
Apologizes for not replying Dewayne but have just come back from holiday. Nikonian72 has given you excellent links for focus stacking and if I can help in any way, don't hesitate to ask.

I think it is best to focus stack using a tripod. Flowers ( in doors) were the first subject that I experimented on using this method as the subject didn't move and I could take my time with the focusing. I used the focusing ring to focus on the nearest part of the subject and frame by frame moved across the subject , this resulted with me taking about 10 - 15 images and then putting them into a focus stacking program to combine all the images. The program I use is Zerene Stacker, they do a 30 day FREE TRIAL so all I did was to photograph as many objects as I could just to get the practice. It is not that difficult to do as all it takes is practice and patience . I hope you give it a try, good luck.
