Talk first . Then do as they recommend . Doing it yourself might damage it to the extent that might void the warrantee And the right to return it .

I have been purchasing equipment from Adorama for years and have never had an issue. They are a good company and stand behind what they sell. If the sticker is such a big deal to you, you should return it for a replacement and I'm certain they will take care of it. I also think the proper way to have handled the situation would have been to call them first before even thinking about telling the world of your minor misfortune.
Yes I did
yep, that's cute. Dang thing gave me code instead of a smiley face
thats why there are two posts
sorry.

Does ANYONE READ the posts before contributing? :)
No, it is not standard practice. People respond as they read down.
Use "Goo-B-Gone". Excellent stuff and will not harm the lens.
   I feel your pain, Helen.
At least I have learned from this thread that the sticker thing on USED items is common. I got something from Adorama that was stickered and just thought it was a fluke, but it was a minor irritation and not enough to put me off from future business with them.
Is anyone READING this? I just want be PUBLISHED!! ;)
If he does that he will pay return postage. If he contacts me..... oh, what am I doing here?
