Outstanding, but you know that. My favorite far and away is the shot of the egret through the trees. Love that. Evokes feelings of mystery, tranquility, and maybe even a little spooky. A great shot.

I agree! You're looking at a beautiful creature, but not intruding upon it's space.

I'm relatively new here and don't know if you have more pictures of this area but I'd like to suggest you consider putting them in a slide show using something like Pro Show Gold. You can use various effects like panning and add a music and/or narration. It would give you a chance to put all your lovely work together and tell a "story" about the swamp.
Just a suggestion - I do like your pictures. Sometimes the hardest part of a slide show is finding appropriate music that isn't copyrighted.

Beautiful morning for a walk around the swamp. Among all other thing we are known for, we are also the wild orchid, bromeliad and various other epiphyte capital of the North American Continent. I included a shot of a large epiphyte in bloom on a cypress tree. Also I have a shot of a green dragonfly, the first I have ever seen. It is a dark and beautiful spot, with the sun shinning in spots. Please download especially the epiphyte, thanks

Greg, I love the way the light seems to dance over the petals of the flowers and leaves. Something different for you and very well done my friend, very well indeed! The egret is very striking, it would be really hard to pick a favorite in this set. :-D

Nice collection of images from the swamp. Of course you know I would like the bird best, but all are good.

Some morning walks are better than others. It looks like this was one of the better ones. Nice shots.
