Welcome to the hog, tlynng....What a good shot of the fly. It isnt very often that you can get a good shot like this one. Flys are not known to sit for more than an instant. Good shot.

Thank you Rich - I was able to get several different shots as evidently the fly was REALLY enjoying the lavender!! I was tickled with this particular shot as to the clearness and color of the fly. I love doing macro photos - there is something about the detail that strikes me.
