You know, I don't care much for "Birther" Bill Posey, a congressman from Florida, but I had to applaud when he tried to introduce legislation in the US House of Representatives that would mandate that no bill could be voted on in fewer than three days after it was introduced, so that members would have at least a little time to actually read the bill and consider it's implications!
But alas - that was just asking too much of this bunch of narcissistic junior high-schoolers we call legislators.

My liberal democrat, socialistic father-in-law said to me "if everybody would listen to me and do what I say, the world would be a wonderful place to live". He was a loser who never amounted to much of anything. If it wasn't for his wife supporting his dead ass he would have been living on the street rummaging through garbage cans. As it was he spent a lot of time trying to devise a system to beat Keno at the casinos. That never happened either.

The scary part is the idiots that chair committees, and push legislation, and have no idea of the basic science or realities of what they are trying to sell. Maybe a lot more of them should just shut up, or there should be a basic entrance exam to many of the technical committees. Thanx for the update remoman
