She was pretty brave. I walked real slow and she just sat there. I had to get real close to make her move enough to see the eggs.:)

These are good ones Erv. Sorry to tell you this but the chicks move out of the nest the same day they hatch. As soon as the last one is dried out, they're on the move. I hope you're in the right place at the right time.

Killdeers, just like doves make their nests in the most vulnerable spots and then look dumbfounded when the eggs are broken, stolen or fall out. It is amazing that many survive.

She did a nice job of picking the spot. I never use that drive.:):) I walk down across the bridge and work cleaning up. Have all my tools in the Sugar Bush.:)
