Very nicely done. The lighting in #1 really sets off the horse's color.

They are majestic, and strong, and beautiful and you've captured all that... and I love that Harvey captured a tender moment (maybe silly for you but the Belgian seems content).

Thanks Carlysue. That d#@n Harvey's always sticking his lens where he shouldn't. That's OK I always find a way to get back at him. :-) I agree, the horse didn't seem to mind. Thanks for looking in, lady. It's always appreciated.

On my return from the Osprey shoot I stopped at a pasture that had six Belgian Horses. These gentle giants are always without tack and therefore a pleasure to shoot. The one in the close up isn't satisfied until she's put that velvety nose against your cheek. I thought I'd share four of the images with you.

Stunning shots of beautiful animals.

Now that you've brought it up, Sandy. Here's a story from last winter. My friend Harvey and I stopped at a pasture and the horses were as curious as ever. The palomino couldn't resist planting a big kiss on me. As I'm talking to it I said, "Well wasn't that sweet. Here's one for you."
Harvey took a quick shot and this is what he caught.
When in the restaurant for lunch he suggested I sit at the next table since I smelled like a horse. How unkind of that old geezer.
The older we get the sillier we get.
Now that you've brought it up, Sandy. Here's a sto... (show quote)

Joe, silly is good, I was just saying to a good friend that no matter how old we get our soul stays young. Harvey was mad because she didn't plant a big velvety one on him, she liked you more.

How right you are Sandy. And I'm glad it is that way. Harvey never gets close enough for that to happen. He doesn't know what he's missing.
