Good Afternoon; I have been reading the discussion boards for a few days and have just now registered. My name is Michael and I'm a retired truck driver, and took up photography as a hobby during my retirement. I use Canon equipment and have learned so much just reading the boards and now want to participate, as being an amateur I have many questions. Thank you.

You can find a lot of good info using the "search" function at top of page, as well as the FAQ's - but no matter how often a question has been asked, we will all learn from the varied replies. Welcome Jake, the best way to learn is practice lots show us your pics asking for critiques, and also look for a local club to get out to places and get some hands on help from the more experienced members.
