The latest hypocrisy comes from those detractors who are complaining bitterly about the cost of her funeral..I remember many of them saying they would pay a fortune to be rid of her... So now they've got their wish.. what are they whining about..

Margret Thatcher has proved in death how right she was to legally put and end to the extreme left wing anarchists in the 1980s. The current crop of vile extremist are really showing there true colours and given us an insight of what the last 25 years would have been like had they succeeded back then. The sad thing is there were a lot of really decent trade unionist who protested rightly and honestly at that time and still do, and although they feel bitter towards the government of the day and Margaret Thatcher, conducted themselves in a dignified and adult way, and still do. These are the people who were let down by there union leaders who used them as a battering ram in an attempt to force there Communist idealism on the people of the UK. These people , the silent majority, are the true face of Labour in the UK and will continue to carry on the fight to ensure the rights of working people in a correct and legal manor. Many Countries in the World would be in a better state today if they had a Margret Thatcher to lead them with strength and conviction.

Many people loved Mrs T, Many people hated her. Many people
respected her, Many people loathed her. Many said she divided Britain, Many say the united and saved Britain. What ever your feeling and opinions one thing is certain, you can not ignore her.

And to crown it all, the taxpayers are going to have to fork out another fortune for her to lay in state while the politicians that we employ stop what little work they do to talk about her and then we pay for all the security that will be needed in London when she has her official funeral.

The b***h is still costing the working man hard earned money even in death.

@The Fat Engineer... Trust a Scot to come up with that..If it wasn't for the loonies like you who are celebrating her death.. there would be no need for even half the security that will be in place.. So once again it's you loathers who are the cause of everything you despise. Think about that in your narrow minded little world.

Well, all these "security" departments now say that everything is a security threat, because it keeps them in a job.
They will not even 100% eliminate drugs coming into the country because it keeps them in a job and the flow on -problems to be attended by other departments.
'Been there, done that..

Are these the same working men (and probably mostly social society scroungers, who the honest working men & women are of this country are paying for), who cost the country millions of pounds deploying there rights to strike and protest (often illegally) in the 1960 & 1970. And have you thought that had the extreme left wing zealots won the day at that time, and had continued to control the Labour party, who would have got in to power, then non of us would probably be in a position today to have this free speech, debate, or protest. Look hard at the people who the union workers followed and worshiped in those days, Even Arthur Scarghill has now been disowned by his union. The union workers chose to blindly follow the anarchist union leaders, and ignore the often wise words of unionists such as Jimmy Reid.

Your arguments seem to be based on a lot of "probablies". Have you done the maths or are you just making it up? If you've done the maths, please show your working out.

Our parents and grandparents who fought despotism in the 1940s have unwittingly through their sacrifices and post war hard work ceated a society that thinks the world owes it a living without working for it. They were too generous sparing the rod and have spoilt the child.

We seem to be getting the Daily Mail mentality creeping into this debate. Everything is the fault of scrounging unemployed trade unionists. If some-one's unemployed, they're not going to be in a trade union. Get your heads out of the editorials and try reading a proper newspaper for a change.

You see, my friend we do agree on some things, The Daily Mail is not my cup of tea ether. And I do watch the BBC which has a slight lean.

I used to take the Telegraph but gave it up for the Daily Mail and then The Guardian. I despaired of both those rags some time ago and returned the Telegraph which IMHO is the best daily...which altho biased towards the Tories is still not afraid to, and very often does, criticise them. I haven't watched the Biased Broadcasting Corporation's news for ages.

All news papers have some degree of bias but I agree that the Telegraph is probably the fairest.

I would suggest that what this country needs right now is fewer politicians in government and more people with experience in the real world.
