I have some neat 126 slides of our then classified Pershing missile we launched from Utah in the late 60's. The camera was a Kodak instamatic tucked into my field jacket.

My first camera was an Argus C3. I got it in 1957 to go to a summer camp. It was great camera on which to learn. I had to estimate speed and f-stop. Still have the photos taken back then.

Yep, me too! did you have the leather case with it?

I still have a lot of photos also from it.

My idea exactly -- i have all my sketches for just that - a photo sensor that did just what you suggest. My patent attorney advised me it was a waste of time and money to peruse it as it would never be commercially viable and it would
require more memory than would fit in a cartridge size unit -- that was in 2004 when you couldn’t hold 1 GB in your hand -- now you can get 60 GB in the size of your fingernail.

I once was given a disc camera which turned me off after the first prints. Gave it to my sister as her first camera and it turned her off too. She gave it to one of her school friends and they haven't talked to each other since then.

[quote=plieber]It would be neat if some enterprising soul could come up with a self-contained sensor/electronics package where the sensor would be full-frame 35mm
