What Was Your First Camera and When

My first camera was a Kodak point and shoot that took aps film. My mom gave it to me the morning of my highschool graduation as a gift and it was stolen that same day. So sad, ended the day with no records of my big day and no graduation present!

A Maranda SLR, got it in 1962, it survived two years in the West African rainforests but was stolen when I lived on Haights St in 1967. Replaced it with this Nikon F. It still works and so do the three good prime Nikor lens I use with my new dslr, a Nikon D5100.

Great Looking Nikon F with the 50 f1.4! You even have the soft release button.

My first camera was purchased, for those of you who can remember them, from collecting Bazooka Bubble Gum comics. My first subject was my friend Danny. At the time I belive I was about 9-10 years old. And the camera took a good quality picture in black & white.
