It shows how you feel inside about your bike. That's what a photo is supposed to do. If the bike sparkles in your heart let it sparkle for others too. Nothing wrong with the photo the way it is.

Paul, I hate to differ with the others but I think the sparkles are way over done. They geometrically match (there are so many and they are all in line making for a grid). They take away from the bike. Just a couple placed here and there would look much better. Just my opinion kiddo.

I agree with tainkc. Well, said.

Me too...just a little much...but a beautiful bike!

Great picture Paul but for me probably slightly overdone. If you changed the bike angle so major highlights were restricted (say three quarter front on) it would remove a lot but then might not be the angle you like. Someone could hold a large dark sheet/card (out of camera range) to negate some of the highlights and give more control. Lovely bike though and great picture regardless.

Tainkc thats sort of what I thought. You say just place !or 2,but when you are useing a screw on filter how can you place them?

With the filter, try changing the angle just a little bit. That may change the way the sun hits and increase or decrease the star effect.

Works for me too!! Those that read and understand the post should realize that this effect is done in camera and not a PP cheap trick.
