Taking some pictures of my bike today and decided to try my 4 point star filter I hadnt used in years.To me it looks like a little to much.Just wondering what some of yall thought.Either way I dont thank its any way to control it.Comments welcome and Thanks For Looking.

Sparkles look good on the chrome, makes for a great come on photo if your selling it, still a great photo if your not selling it!

Paul, I hate to differ with the others but I think the sparkles are way over done. They geometrically match (there are so many and they are all in line making for a grid). They take away from the bike. Just a couple placed here and there would look much better. Just my opinion kiddo.

Tainkc thats sort of what I thought.You say just place !or 2,but when you are useing a screw on filter how can you place them?

Possibly by moving around and changing your position you could control the number of spectral highlights produced, thereby controlling the "stars".
I like the photo just fine, but if it were my bike I wouldn't want it to be the only photo I had (as I'm sure it isn't!).

Photographically speaking - just a little over done with the star filter. Good tonal range in the photograph though and a very good looking bike.

I don't think it's over the top Paul.
After all this bike is your pride and joy. You want to convey how it shines and sparkles and you've done that.
