Number 2 is a little too busy for me. #3 does not have a wow factor (for me). Number one was....WOW! I wanted to be there. I think it's beautiful and if it were mine, it would be on my wall.

I took the 1st one yesterday in the cloud while snowing. I tried to compose it with interest. #2 was just a cool shot of the bridge, #3 was just an inspiring shot to me Please let me know if it can be improved.
Wow, you guys are great. I want to say thank you to everyone of you. It is nice to have a place where you can share and get honest feed back on your work.
#1 was one of them things that just happens. I took 75 pictures and I have a lot of good one, but #1 to me just set the mood for being out in the snow early in the morning. I am going to get it made to hang on the wall. I was wondering if I should have watermarked it. Oh well.
#2, I glad to see that There are people that see different things with the yellow house. I chose to put the house in because of the addition of color to the shot. The bridge itself does add color, but the house to me adds to the picture.
#3, To me has meaning. With everything that is happening in our world today, I see the 3 snow covered rock as grave markers, the trees as a sign of life, the misty mountain as a question of what is to come, and the flag hanging limp as a moment of silence for all.
Thanks again for all of your kind coments
I've added 3 more pic's from the selection.
These were all shot in Tehachapi, CA
This is just a scenic shot
This flag was just sticking up through the trees
This is a different bridge
Wow. What a response! Great pictures will do that. I think #1 could use a very slight crop bringing the dark bush into the LH corner...eye stopper. Agree with RonMos about cropping out the building, leaving your subject (bridge) alone. #3 ???
Wonderful morning you had indeed.   DJT
Really like 1 and 2, very sweet!

They are all good woodsliv, but #1 is very very good. Great shot and well done, it's a keeper. I don't think #1 needs any crop at all, it is fantastic as is

Sorry, posted my response before your second set arrived. Definately see "your story" after you explained your thought about #3. Great work. DJT

woodsliv, all are nice pictures, but I do like #1 best.
Living on the East Coast I have to say those photos do not fit my image of California. They are all great.

Hi woodsliv, Picture 1-- Excellent Composition!!!!! great focus, nice and sharp. Did you do any pp with the color?
Picture 2--Excellent clarity. The one thing that doesnt sit quite right with me is that the foot bridge is dead center. Did you crop this way or can you crop the shot to offset the bridge and make the shot even better than it is now.
Picture3-- Beautiful composition and the clarity is nice and sharp. Nothing more to be said about this picture.
All good shots-----do more.
Rich
1&2 awesome! I never understand why people change images without asking or being asked.

Very nice, That was a good snow but didn't make it up there.
I like the composition of all 3 but #2 is the only one properly exposed. #1 and 3 are under exposed. When shooting in the snow it is important to look at your histogram. The curve needs to be very close to the right side. Snow is very bright and causes the meter to under expose the scene.

#1 is as good as it gets. Two is great but try a little crop to cut out the building and the foreground. Otherwise i wish I had those in my camera
