I disagree, To me the structure sticks out like a sore thumb and has no special character other then to draw the viewers interest away from the bridge. Perhaps in monochrome it might be less obtrusive but IMO it's not necessary. A picture doesn't have to always tell a story. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
