The politicians made it legal to take their profits as "Capital gains."
All the tax-evading laws are the result of the criminals in Washington.

Time for a "Flat tax." Everyone (including the gimme crowd) pays.

GE, Verizon, etc., time to pony-up!

Will never happen, there are to many people living off
a goverment that is now living off of the American taxpayers.
It has some thing to do with supply and demand. We, the
tax payers supply the goverment with money and those
who doesn't want to work, demands the goverment to
keep supporting them.

Larry, the American people have to stop it. It is illegal and unconstitutional for government to confiscate wealth from one group and give it to another group. The Constitution was written for a self-reliant people and no way gives government this power. But, of course, the government keeps most of the confiscated wealth for themselves.

Do you realize that it is legal for members of Congress to engage in "insider trading" the exact same thing that put Martha Stewart in jail? You do it you go right to jail. They do it, its just a job perk.

Ted, Yes, more proof that the criminals in Washington are self-serving. They should all go to jail because if they are politicians, they have committed crimes.

It's absolutely obscene how the Obama's have misused AirForce 1 for their personal use on vacations and fund raising trips. I'd like to see the planes grounded except for official government use.

I really felt sorry for Martha. Personally, I think the government jerks just didn't like her attitude. She tried to standup for herself.

It is unconstitutional for government to pass laws, and exempt themselves. There again, the politicians vote themselves special privileges that allow them to leave as Millionaires.

A friend of mine ask me if I believed in Capital Punishment,
I told him I sure do. I believe every one in the Capital

Can ypu help me out here? I've studied the Constitution for years and I still can't find anywhere in it that authorizes the Federal Government to spend my tax dollars on education. So I'm having to assume that it then becomes a state issue under the 10th amendment "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

Since I hate to assume things, because that thends to make an ASS of U & ME, please enlighten us all how education is a federal issue. Thanks in advance for clearing up this issue.
