It's only good for one computer they have an embedded code.......
That is not true. Multiple use of a single program is called "liscensing". Corporations buy liscensing rights to use a program on many different PC & laptops within a single room or building. Complimentary minimal liscensing can be extended from MFR for multiple computers at a single "house" address.
That is true..........but did you buy a Multiple use Liscense and are these users in a single house?

What do you not understand about the word "complimentary"?
And by definition, a laptop is portable, which means MFR knows it will not stay at one physical address.

Sorry didn't mean to offend you.....but if you buy a liscense it's plural.....and that means one.......Look at it this way.........Nikonian 72 sells a pictuture to ajc56 for personal use........does that give ajc56 the right to sell or give Nikonian72's pictures to everyone in China? However if the agreement said you buy one and get a complimetary one free.......then you and your daughter should be able to use it............always watch out for the wording......okay enough arguing lets get back to posting photos!
I just bought the pse 10 upgrade, and you can install it on your desktop and laptop, the only stipulation is that you can't run both programs at the same time. here is the answer from Adobe's website:
Can I use my software on two computers?
If you own, or are the primary user of, a single-user or volume license Adobe product that is installed on a computer at work, you can also install and use the software on one secondary computer of the same platform at home or on a portable computer. However, you may not run the software simultaneously on both the primary and secondary computers.
No more than one user can use a single-user license Adobe product.

Hope this helps clear the air a bit... :-)
