I own pse9. They just sent me an e-mail for 50% off to upgrade to 10. So if you already have pse9, you might get this as well.

Yes, the sale was in store only. Too bad. They also had the upgrade for the same price even though the regular price was like $89.99. They also had the Elements 10 and elements 10 Premier combo for $67 0r $69 also. I got there after the initial rush and they had plenty in stock. I wonder if they work on more than one computer? Probably not.

Me too! And I purchased a Satechi TR-M Timer Remote Control for Nikon D90 for $50. Christmas presents to myself. Now I have to learn how to use both.

I'm new to photography...the only editing I do is with the Micrsoft program and that doesn't do much. Is PE 10 a good editor for a begginer? Is it easy to use?

I have been a photographer for 40-years, using only Picasa 3 the lasty few years for Post Processing (PP). I find most PP programs very intimitating. I have heard good things about PE10, and purchased my first copy just yesterday. The price & the timing were right.

The one I bought is for my daughter on Christmas. I wonder if it will let me put it on my computer also? I offered her Cs5 at one time but she did not want it because she had an older copy of Elements light and she was comfortable with it. I am sure she will take to it like a fish to water. She does not need the video add on. Oh, by the way, my wife just bought a new Acer laptop. It came with all that bundled crap. However, it has what looks like a pretty neat photo editing program. I am going to try it out. I'll let you know how turns out and what it is called.

Not sure if you can use it or not. When I downloaded, I had to be on-line. They asked for serial number off the back of package to register before downloading. Just like anything else, I'm sure there are ways around this.

When online to MFR, mention that you want new program on your PC and on your laptop. MFRs know that many clients have more than one computer.

It's only good for one computer they have an embedded code.......that's not a bad thing.........How would you like it if one person bought a photo from you and then gave it away to everyone on the planet?

That is not true. Multiple use of a single program is called "liscensing". Corporations buy liscensing rights to use a program on many different PC & laptops within a single room or building. Complimentary minimal liscensing can be extended from MFR for multiple computers at a single "house" address.
