You will LOVE this lens. I use mine for birding, mainly on a crop sensor, and am impressed with the clarity/focus. Best bang for the buck in my estimation. You will get used to the weight. However, I use a monopod with a single axis head. Age and creakiness !
O.K. Here is my first shot with my new Sigma 150-500 mm lens. I shot in Raw, hand held, ISO 200,1/400,F 11, at 500 mm. Very nice lens.
Great shot. I'm thinking about this lens also. I'm curious as to what camera body this shot was taken with, I read somewhere that the big sig does not match up too well with Canon bodies.
